First Visit with Santa

On Saturday December 9th, Mom, Elizabeth and I took Little Brian to visit Santa Clause at the Mall of Georgia. Well, he was just coming back from his break and he stopped to speak to Little Brian before sitting down. Little Brian was smiling at him so I though, "Great, he isn't going to cry." We waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes to only have Santa's helper inform us that the camera was broken and it would be awhile until it was fixed. Santa allowed us to use our video camera instead and we sat Little Brian with him. Little Brian stared in awe at Santa for about 30 seconds before belting out a scream for Mommy. We quickly left, disappointed and tired.

So we returned to Santa's village last night, December 14th, to try again. We did have to wait another hour and fifteen minutes before it was our turn. Little Brian was still anxious about sitting with Santa so Mommy sat with him. Little Brian was a good little boy this year so Mommy knew Santa would bring him lots of toys. :)

My fretful baby....

On Saturday night, around 3:00 am my poor baby woke up screaming. Naturally his Mommy thought he had an ear infection as he cried each time he lay down. So we got up and went to the Longstreet Clinic at 9:45 am. Needless to say, we spent 4 1/2 hours there. THEY FAILED TO CALL OUR NAME AND WE WERE SKIPPED!!

Mommy and Aunt Elizabeth were very unhappy. (We're exploring Dr. Hosford's practice now.) As it turns out, Little Brian is simply cutting a back molar and that was why he was fretful. Thank the Lord, Little Brian isn't sick. :)

Little Brian is beginning to crawl!

Yesterday, Little Brian made his first crawling attempt!

We're staying at Nanny and Poppa's house for the week while Daddy is out of town and Little Brian is moving & shaking. We set some of his favorite toys just out of reach. Well he wanted his worm and he let everyone in the house know it.

He was the little engine that could! He tried and tried until he reached it! My baby is growing up so fast!

I got it!

Little Brian is 6 Months Old!!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Little Brian!
On November 19th, Daddy, Mommy and Little Brian had family portraits made. It was time for Little Brian's 6 Month portrait, a portrait of Daddy and Little Brian and a family portrait. Little Brian's portrait and the father and son portrait turned out great!

Halloween 2006

This year was Little Brian's first Halloween. He was a Brave Lil' Lion.

He looked just like the Lion from the Wizard of Oz!! We dressed him in his costume and then let him "assist" Daddy in carving his first pumpkin. Oh he was so sleepy, but determined to take in everything!

Daddy enjoyed carving Little Brian's first pumpkin. Little Brian supervised Daddy's efforts.

When our Trick or Treaters started arriving, Little Brian was asleep on Mommy's lap. But as Mommy gave out candy, he smiled so sweet at them and then immediately went back to sleep on her shoulder. But soon he was ready to wait for more Trick or Treaters. He sat with Daddy as some of the costumes were quite scary.

Burt's Pumpkin Farm

This past weekend was busy for Little Brian, Mommy and Daddy. We went to Burt's Pumpkin Farm and the Dahlonega Goldrush Festival.

Little Brian had a blast picking out his first pumpkin. :)

He wasn't quite sure at first what a pumpkin was. He thought this must be something to eat so when Mommy was trying to take his picture, he leaned over and started to "taste" a pumpkin!

Little Brian is so sweet. He was looking at Aunt Elizabeth and Nanny, as if to say "This must be important to Mommy."

Nanny and Aunt Elizabeth decided to help Little Brian pick his pumpkin. :)
